Agreement & Deposit
We will sit down with you and go through our portfolio together. If you are interested in our service, we will sign an agreement with you and collect a deposit (25% of the package price).
Prior to your wedding day we will conduct online research into your venues such as church, park, reception venue, and, if indicated, provide you with helpful suggestions. On the day of your wedding, we will arrive early and scout locations for the best wedding photographs.
After your wedding, it will take approximately three to eight weeks for photo editing depending on your wedding package. We will upload your wedding photos onto our server for your selection. Once you have selected your wedding photos, they will be sent to our lab for printing.
Once photo printing is complete, we will categorize all your wedding photos, complete file transfer to an USB, finalize products packaging, contact you, and arrange an appointment for delivery of your package(s).
HAVE YOU HAD ANY FORMAL PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING?
Yes. Our photographers have completed the Digital Photography program at George Brown College, and for the past two years have been busy shooting weddings, engagements, and special events.
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY AT THE WEDDING FOR?
This depends on which wedding package you book. Our regular wedding package covers bridal preparation through to the last dance. You can extend our evening wedding coverage by choosing additional hours.
CAN WE GET A USB OF ALL THE PHOTOS?
Yes. You will receive a USB containing all high-resolution photos, free of copyright and watermarks, to store for safe keeping. You may upload any or all of these pictures to any social media or email them to friends.
DO YOU VISIT THE WEDDING LOCATIONS BEFORE THE DAY?
Whether or not we attend the location before the wedding depends upon whether we can find all the necessary information online. Our wedding photographers research the venue and places one week before your wedding and arrive early to determine the best locations for your wedding photographs. If necessary, we can attend the wedding location in advance, in which case a small fee will apply.
DO YOU DO PRE-WEDDING MEETING?
We normally do not do a pre-wedding meeting with the bride and groom. We request that our clients provide us with their wedding itinerary at least a week prior to their wedding date, and we will go through it carefully. If we have any suggestions or there are any adjustments required, we will inform our clients. A pre-wedding meeting is available upon request at an additional fee.
DO YOU CARRY BACKUP EQUIPMENT / LIGHTING?
We carry backup equipment such as cameras, flash, and lenses. Besides, we carry umbrellas and towels if they are required in the event.
DO YOU WORK ALONE?
Normally we do not work alone. With packages that do not include a second photographer, the primary photographer will be accompanied by an assistant who will help the photographer throughout the photo session. A second photographer is included in our Silver, Golden, and Diamond wedding packages, and can be provided for an additional fee in all other packages. A second photographer allows us to cover parts of your wedding from two different angles, and you will receive more photos.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
We are based out of Hamilton, and our service area includes the Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Ancaster, Hamilton and Stoney Creek. Fuel and mileage charges will apply for areas outside of these communities.
HOW MANY PICTURES DO YOU TAKE?
The number of photos taken depends on the hours included in the chosen wedding package, the number of guests, and the other variable issues such as weather. For a Standard wedding package you would receive approximately 500 photos; however, we never count them, and you may have more than this.
WILL YOU PHOTOGRAPH EVERYONE?
Besides the bride, groom, and bridal party, we endeavor to get photos of everyone at your wedding. If we are taking a large group photo, we attempt to include everyone; however, there are usually some people who will disappear at this point. We will also normally get candid photos of people mingling throughout the day. If there is anyone special you would like to have photographed, please let us know.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
OOnce you have decided to hire us for your wedding photography, please contact us to schedule a meeting where we can discuss all the details of your wedding day and determine which photography package best fits your needs and budget. We will then provide you with our Standard Wedding Photography Contract and will require a deposit for booking. Upon receipt of the booking deposit, your wedding date will be booked into our diary. Payment can be made by cash, email transfer or cheque.
WHEN DO I GET MY PHOTOS?
Once your photo session is complete, there are still many more hours or days of work involved to individually edit and retouch each wedding photo. For engagement sessions, you will usually receive your engagement photos in two to three weeks. For weddings, it can take anywhere from three to eight weeks, depending on your wedding package.
