Flower GuideConsider when flowers are in season, whether they’re hardy enough to last a full day, what color are available, which have a glorious scent – and how to save a little money.

Some flowers are not suitable for a bouquet but can be worked into table centres. Similarly, there are expensive flowers that would be lovely in the bride’s bouquet but a little pricey for table centres.

  • Use flowers that are in-season. Daisies are in abundance, for example, in the summer but less available, and therefore more expensive, in the winter.

Cascades end with trailing blossoms and often ribbon. Carried only with a long gown.
